Prayer team

Worship
Jackson Avenue Church Worship Ministries encompasses each aspect of our mission.
The purpose of worship at our church is not just about music and what takes place within a musical aspect of worship. It’s about living a life of worship 24/7 - at our jobs, our relationships in the world, our financial world, the way we spend our time AND the communion of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Therefore, I urge you brothers (sisters), in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of you mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

CHildren's and woMen's Ministries
Children's Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to helping families lay a spiritual foundation that, in God’s time, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Sunday School for Early Childhood (3 year-olds through Kindergarten) & Elementary Students (1st-6th grades)
Children begin in our 10:00 Sunday Morning Service for worship and then go to their classes during teaching time. There they learn Biblical truths and stories from caring adults.
Nursery
Our nursery is available for newborns through 2 years old during the entire service. Children are cared for by our loving caretakers. We also have a room available for nursing mothers.
~ ~ ~ All adults working with our children have gone through Child & Youth Protection Training and passed background checks for the safety of our children.
Women's Ministry
The mission of our women's ministry is to prepare, challenge, and inspire women to a life of Christian discipleship. It is our desire and mission they become a full and fulfilled disciple of Jesus Christ, and that each woman will have a passion for Christian service, whether it is across the street or around the globe.
